Garcia, there is no general recommandation for a priner. Maybe magazines tell you this printer is the best buy… I think, most printers nowadays do a good job for a specific task. Comparing a BJC600 with a DJ1200 or BJC800 is nonsense, as these printers address a totaly different task/user/price. You can compare the DJ550 with a BJC600, but not a BJC600 with a DJ1200. Well, the Fargo Primera printer is surely fine if you want to print color graphics only and if you can afford the costs for the dye sub stuff. Thermal Wax with Fargo is surely not worth the money, so you should allways get the dye sub upgrade. Also, the Fargo is not good for the avarage work of most users (DTP, word processors…).
