Liquid Speed
>>Just get a 1->4 parallel switchbox
Not enough! I once worked out the solution for my situation. It took
a 4x3x4 logic switcher. I have three dongles, two printers and two
cpu's. In addition I figured a dedicated hard drive for the software
that screwed up the sectors. No!, I shelved the software and use a
simple A/B parallel switch for the dongles and have two cables
hanging free and the 2-dongle set ready to plug in along with the
single mixed gas dongle. The secret to convenience was having the
DB25 pin jack located right by the monitor so I can work it like a
patch bay or old fashioned telephone switch board. It's OK but I
still feel silly having to go through this. I think I'd feel less
silly spraying my system with RAID to prevent those little
unexplained software extras that creep up, especially on 1.0
versions. <G>
