I don't see how that can be true. The key factor, as I understand it, is to
use as little compression as possible, and an EISA buss fast SCSI II is
definitely faster (I get 10mb per second, 30mb burst rate), so you can
throughput larger frames (=less compression). If I'm off the mark, please let
me know what I'm missing <g>. BTW, the Abekas has approximately 40mb per
second sustained throughput (maybe more…) so there is no compression, and the
images DEFINITELY look better than the DPS, so there must be something to the
buss and throughput thing.
