Alan; I just don't have time to mess with the code right now (besides, I don't have a recent enough version). The problem with the GVP IOextender might be in part due to GVP's implementation but the AmigaNOS stuff does not work correctly with the C= A2232 either. I have looked a little at the serial device code and under cursory examination there does not appear to be anything wrong with it, however there must be… I am thinking that the Parameter 5 problem could very well be a real problem in the code. Isn't that a parameter that is just for the KAM tncs? I don't believe that I use that with the tnc2 clone. However, I was wrong about that… (just looked) It might be parameter 1 "TxDelay" that might help a little with your problem. Not that I think that parameter 1 is definately the one that is the problem but still it might help to reduce the problem (and it is parameter 4 that is not implemented on the Kam rather than parameter 5 not being used for tnc 2). -bill
