Dom Fontana,
I've picked up this thread in the middle, so forgive me for asking. What can
you tell me about Pro Text insofar as it being a replacement for Wordperfect?
I'm finishing up my second book using Wordperfect, and while I don't require
any real support from them, I'm nervous that if some real emergency did occur
there would be no help at all, since they now refuse to help us Amigaites.
The graphics oriented word processors don't interest me, and I was terribly
disappointed with Final Writer, which lacks too many features to be useful for
me. (No default document path, no undelete and no word search in its list files
screen to name a few). What gives with ProText? Can I write to the company for
literature on its features? Exactly how does it stack up against Word Perfect?
If it doesn't convert Wordperfect, could I import Wordperfect files into Final
Writer or Final Copy and then import it to Pro Text? Also, who carries Pro Text
here in the States?
