Seems to be becoming a pet peeve. I frequently combine various images for an animation and spend a lot of time combining the pallettes. One of the things that eats up a lot of unneccessary time is that when you make all frames in a flic "one pallette", it usually (but not always) changes the first color register to some other color than the 0,0,0 black that I always have it set to. Unfortunately that color is used for the area outside the active window. Since the color that gets placed there is being used in the animation, I have to do a lot of juggling to reorganize the pallette to get the outside area black again without disrupting the animation itself. Surely other people must have had this problem (frequently, I would think!), since there is apparently no way to avoid it. If anyone has any tricks up their sleeves that they would like to share, I'm all ears.
