There are some quick tricks to this actually. I do all my palette manipulations
BEFORE mixing. I squeeze images down to a decent percentage of the entire
palette, preassigning them to certain areas (clusters). Then when they get
combined, no conflicts and no 0 register problems. What kinds of images are you
combining? (Flics? Pics? Cels?) -dave
