I agree, still a lot of people model objects which are very simmetrical and
common: chairs, tables, airplanes etc. Others are doing cartoon characters and
weird objects that require some new tools and paradigms – such as blobs.
//I have only played once with the Meta Editor, it makes the task easy (I do
not normally //work on an SGI) . They have a great menu system that can be
activated anywhere on //the screen and in essence allows you to change tools
without takig your eyes off of the //image you are working on.
I used the META Editor for a few weeks and it was an awesome program.
