Mike, Some of the replies here, although probabily based on reality, are frustrating! It seems that when I talk about a career in the sciences, I mostly get negative responses. I was always under the impression that there were shortages in these fields, but that's not what I've been hearing here. Even the grades schools are stressing the need for more math and science teaching, but why?? What are we preparing these kids for, empty job markets??
