Thanks, Andrew. Your comments provide a bit of comfort, but still leave me concerned. Playing with a system for a few minutes is way different than using it for hours at a time and becoming the first on your block to discover a previously unknown and undocumented feature. <G> What you have to say is definitely encouraging, but still doesn't address many others issues, such as actual hard drive space consumption for various levels of video quality, ease of editing without a timeline, the acceptability of not being able to create an EDL (which I believe is inherent to the Flyer) and some other issues that cause me concern. "The most interesting thing that was said by Tim Jenison, and I'm sure you'll start hearing about it soon, is that the Flyer is a totally self contained unit and it only recieves power from it's host computer." That's a real interesting point. Can a non-Amiga Toaster be far behind? With all the competition for video cards in the PC and Mac worlds, NewTek (or anyone else) will have to offer something special in order to cut through all the advertising clutter. Consider the potential of a NewTek Flyer/Adobe Premiere/CoSA bundle? Certainly cuts across all the platforms, doesn't it? Jerry
