Good day Don, Thanks so much for your reply and your info will come in handy. :-] >>>> If you are using serial control, you might talk to AmiLink or your AmiLink dealer about the V-Lan node they make for that deck. The node comes with a built in Time Code reader, I believe it's VITC but I can't remember for sure. <<<< I've often wondered if there was a TC-reader available for the JVC's. I'll be sure to look into it. Control track editing is tricky to be sure. Often I'll do an matchframe edit with a glitch, because the decks just skip a beat. Needless to say this is such a waste of effort. Although $ are in short supply, maybe there's still away to hook my decks together. Don, what area of video production are you involved in ? I ask because brightening my videos is my goal and the more people in this field (dtv) I contact the better my creative juices will flow. We (DTV forum) can only benefit from freedom to share info.. This forum is a great idea and goes a long way toward a sharing of ideas. Happy New Year !! Shawn T. Wolfgang Systems Specialists Inc. Rockville, MD.
