Perhaps the CP wasn't at fault, but without the CP, a user could make a backup,
change preferences, ( a necessity ), and not have to go through the hassles of
exchanging the disk.
Two of my friends have clobbered pictures on DPaint, and are less than thriled
by the CP on it. One tried to re-save VENUS back to the master disk, without
success, and luckily, without further damage.
