Just curious (cuz I know you are into music), have you looked at the packages available on the other platforms? I've had just about every MIDI sequencer (plus The Copyist Pro) installed on my hard drive (save Bars&Pipes) and I don't see how you can make a claim like that. Sure they all do basically the same thing (that is to record MIDI events as data) on the surface, but there is so much more. I had a chance to use Notator the other night (on the ST no less). No way can ANY Amiga sequencing package touch that. Then, there are other types of music software. I challange you to find me an Amiga program that can analyze even simple four part harmony (something EVERY freshman music major needs) or how about help write that next pop hit with a rhyming program. Doing any film work? Nothing on the Amiga like Cue. Wanna submit scores for publication (something that I am most interested in). You're gonna be VERY hard pressed to do it with the Copyist. As an educator, I get software catalogs all the time from the educational houses. I don't recall EVER seeing an Amiga program listed in any of them (I do still see C64 software being offered).
