#Price Cuts?
If people want IBM compatability that bad, why not just drop in one of the
ingle-board 286/386 computers. There are quite a few of them that fit on a
expansion card. The single board monsters come with IDE HD controllers and
floppy controllers built in. And or the really big bucks, Graphic
controllers in addition to the "standard" complement of serial and parallel
ports.
The only real drawback of this idea is where will you put all the ports?
There simply isn't the room on the back of the 2000 or 3000. I dont think
that the bridgeboards are such a great deal after all, The 286 BB is not a
well designed little monster — a _double_wide_card_! Like they haven't
heard of _custom_chips_!
