RE: anti-lock brakes;
I've just got back from a ski vacation in Switzerland. My car has
anti-lock brakes; they saved my life last week. Picture your self
accelerating over 100 mph (we drive faster here). Suddenly you
realize the cars down the road are stopped! There are cars all
arround you doing approx. the same speed and everybody is standing on
their brakes. Cars spinning and fishtailing everywhere but you can
manuver around them whilst standing on your break pedal. I've had ALB
since '86 and wouldn't live without it.
