DMCS
1) DMCS supports septuptlets (and quintuplets and triplets) directly using
the Note Window. They are entered directly into measures without any
special effort.
2) editing (including phrasing) can be done to any continuous group of
notes by first clicking on the first note, and then shift-clicking on the
last note – all notes between them (and including them) will be highlighted
and available for "modification".
3) the SMUS conversion "too many notes" problem is due to the DMCS SMUS
conversion program itself – which is "buggy" and doesn't fully support the
SMUS spec.
