I wish you had posted your message a couple of days earlier…I was at the
local computer fair (where PC clones of dubious origin go for unheard of
prices – loaded 486s for $1700-1800…saw many a face from the local Amiga
group, turning coats…:( ) and I saw the very item you are looking for. Of
course, at the time, it drew nothing more than a ho-hum from me, and I did
not take down any details. But, the device does exist…i.e., something
that will be able to distinguish different ring patterns from
Ringmaster-like setups.
