Ben, Humm…I've never had a mechanical mouse problem, but then while I've used them for quite a number of years…I do use them as little as possible. I tried an optical mouse once…Steve had one at his software company, but I didn't find it "special" or anything to get excited over. IF I used one more, perhaps my mind would change…or perhaps this is simply an issue of personal preference…much like the feel of a keyboard. Don
