Bob, makes sense to me. My dog is so little she doesn't "doo" much harm to my garden. There are many flat areas with cement stepping stones where she squats. I've never noticed burn (but I don't have a lawn). She has ruined a fescue, though, from using it as a cushion. It's almost flat now, whereas before it was a tuft. But I prefer her lying on the fescue to a plant covered with flowers….
