Paul, tall fescue is the most drought tolerant of the grasses that grow in
your area. It stays green all summer. Too important points. It takes
tall fescue two years to fully mature and get thick. You might want to
overseed two years in a row to make sure. Never mow tall fescue shorter
than 2 inches, 3 inches is better.
