Randy, Where are you located? I'd buy a used Acer 386/20 for a home machine at that price. What leasing company? We too were told that we would have to use a proprietary memory card to add RAM. I did this on one of our 2 machines, but only added 2 meg. Then went to BOCAram 16 bit memory expansion cards (holds up to 8 meg, I believe). Various utilities (Qemm Manifest, f'instance) show that the 16 bit memory is, as we would expect, half the speed of 32 bit memory on the "right" memory board. ACAD 11 works (worked…I now have the problem re: locking up when circle/arc commands or entities are processed. I think, because everything was fine for a couple of months, that this new problem is not related to these hardware issues.
