Myron- If your goal is to simply learn Autocad, there is a program called AutoSim, from Autodesk, that gives one a good interactive tutorial (from what I've heard) of how to use Autocad. The price is cheap, too. If you want to exchange files with your clients, then Generic CADD's latest version can read Autocad DWG files, and write out Autocad DXF files, which can then be imported back into Autocad.
