My setup is only roughly comparable: HP RS-20, 4 Mb. But the digitizer is the s same. And no one seemed to have any good explanation for the lockups, although having only about 8 Mb free on the hard disk paprtition may (or, may not) have anything to do with the lockups. It hasn't happened often enough to make a statistical analysis, nor will it, since I refuse to us R11 anymore until the problem is solved. Others occassionally use this machine for plots and have also had lockups when they did some drawing manipualtion prior to plotting. When I brought up the problem at the SFAUG no one seemed to have a clue (but lots of advice). Naturally, when I saw SUMMA.ZIP I figured either a) it was at least part of the problem, or b) it will be part of a problem. So I'm not too anxious to use R11 until the digitizer situation becomes clearer, too. Even if it turns out the previous lockups were caused by inadequate hard disk space. (My boss says by the new budget time this summer he can spring for another 84 Mb drive).
