Dave, Thanks for your info on the use of Choices at the end of a message. I've obviously never used it before, but it sure makes sense. As far as not teaching Paper Space in the first course, that is just the way we set up the curriculum. The first course is simply a 2D course teaching basic command structure, geometry creation and editing and plotting. No need for Paper Space at this point. The second course is 3D wire frame modeling and surfacing, again no need for Paper Space. The third course is 3D detailing from surfaced models. In this course we also teach introduction to solids modeling. Once the surfaced wire-frame models and solid models are created, the students must now be able to "Extract" the engineering data to create the engineering dwgs from the database. It is in this course that we first use the concept of Paper Space and multiple viewport plotting. Steve
