Revis, XT eh? Well, we got some good news and we've got some bad news. The good news is that you can add memory boards that will give you enough room to run the programs, but it's going to be a lot of work. The bad news is you're going to need a memory manager to make it all work and you can't run anything newer on your machine than the release of AutoCAD that you now have. The memory manager SHOULD be QEMM, unless you're running Compaq DOS. I say this simply because you'll find the most help on the Forum for it. 386 to the MAX is another good program if you've got it. There are several other Forum members that will be able to help you with this since my need to deal with such mundane items as extended and expanded memory were eliminated when I switched to R10 386<g>. Leave a message on the Forum to All asking for recommendations about what kind of memory boards to use (we used AST boards as I recall, but DFI makes good (inexpensive) boards as well. You've found your greatest resource here with this Forum, don't be shy about utilizing it. Tell us where you're from and we'll give you whatever leads we have on User's Groups in your area. What do you do? I'm in Civil Engineering myself, and currently using Softdesk's DCA software. Dennis
