John, you don't need Water.SXP, Ripple works great all by itself, you
just apply the process a couple of times to different areas, and then
morph between the variations. As for underwater, there's one on the
CD with a shark in it which might give you some ideas. Basically its
fog but light blue best way to get that underwater haziness. If you
want some glints you can morph a flat mesh in the background with an
opacity map with some glints in it that undulate. Gently swaying
sea-weed would be nice, morphing plants, lets see… I used a linen
texture for water once and it gave a nice differentiation to the
water, like patches of dark and light. I'll see if I can dig it up,
its way cool for the ocean look and if you put it on the surface with
the camera looking up through it the effect would be real nice. Any
other wildness you had in mind? <G>
