Charles, While the scheme that you are using will not be necessary with the new 6.0 version it should work fine with the version of Quarterback that you are using. The main thing that you need to check is that the partition size is adaquate to hold the whole partition as well as two copies of the catalog. It sounds like when you acknowlege the request to insert volume "BAK-F:" you are overwriting the first backup disk with a second disk. With Quarterback 6.0 you would format your bernoulli cartridge as a single partition and do your backups to files on that partition.
