Those were my feelings, too. We're definitely thinking along the same lines: I've already settled on ripple and the projector lights, too, and will either use a hand made caustic (perturbation) flic, or digitized video. The one area where I'm a little blank is image processing. I'd like to soften/murk things up the way they look underwater, or through tears, or through a glass of iced tea <g>.
