This is an unusual message. I can't duplicate it and the conditions that
would cause a similar message would not normally apply to ACAD.LSP. It sort
of sounds like the program has been corrupted so I would start with
reloading the software. When AutoCAD starts it looks for ACAD.lsp and will
only load the routine if it sees the file, but from the sound of this, it
is finding the file then encountering some sort of load error.
Will the file load normally "by hand". Meaning start AutoCAD and typing
(load "/pathname/acad")? Any special dos file handlers being used? (Like
Carousel?) Are you working on a network?
