I would not be so sure, that Mac and Ibm would be able to read the same Syquests. I'm not so sure either if CrossDos on the Amiga is able to format Syquests. As far as I know it only works on Disks, and Syquests are not concerned disks, they are harddisks. On Mac Side, you sure will need additional software to read an Ibm formatted disk or Syquest. I would recomend SCSI tapestreamers, because their format is usually controlled by the writing program. Tar might be a good suggestion. It should work with Amigas, IBMs and Unix for sure, but I don't know of a Mac version either. You could get an Exabyte streamer or something like that and use the same drive to transfer your data from one platform to the other, if you have the same program (tar for example) on each platform. … over the ocean Jochen, Stuttgart, Germany with AutoPilot
