Chris, Let me get this straight. Your A4000/040's have all the Caches turned on, including CopyBack. Then you double-click on the ADPro Icon (v2.3 here) and after ADPro comes up, click on "Loaders". The list comes up, scrolls to EPSON SCAN (v3.0.2). Pick EPSON SCAN from the list. Click "Load"… At this point my system halts and I get an error code of E-1 on my scanner (ES-300C). Are you saying that you actually can scan at full speed at this point (with all caches still turned on)? If so, I may actually consider hand delivering my complete setup to the ASDG offices, in exchange for free updates for life if I am not incorrect. I don't mean to sound abrupt, but I have heard from other owners of ADPro that have the same problem and have solved it in the same way (turning off data caches including copyback before EPSON SCAN is executed)… Thanks, Don Suhr 73117.1337@compuserve.com
