There are still plenty of folks making money doing logos. Although
typestry could conceivably take some of the lower end market away, it
still can't do a great deal of the things that are really sought
after in higher end logo animations. And who says logos have to be
just letters? It's the challenge of the animator and project manager
to come up with concepts and proposals that beat other bidders,
whether they have Typestry or SoftImage. It seems like some people
on this forum think a computer and software is all that makes
animations, gets contracts, and keeps clients happy.
