Hi Trent, The Republican movement here in Australia is quite strong. Moving between 50-60% for a split from the monarchy. Basically, the question is, what has the monarchy ever done for us except send us to war? 😎 Sure there is a lot of sentimentality for the monarchy, but with Australia becoming more and more multi-cultural the monarchy does not mean anything to a large part of our population. I support a split, might be good for the country, and the cricket will be intresting! Regards, Andre
