Toaster Install Problem

One thing I went through on my 3000/GVP 040 board when installing the 3.0 and 3.1 Toaster software was that the darn install program would tell me it didn't have enough RAM after decompressing a session's worth of disks. To add insult, it wouldn't always strike the same 8 disk session (or whatever it was) all the time! Quite irritating when you still had another 20MB of RAM for it to choose from! I renamed my WBStartup drawer to something else, commented out all other "extra" things ran in my Startup-Sequence/User-Startup and rebooted. Worked every time after that! Outside of NewTek exploring the possibilities of popping the next version on CD-ROM, I'd also wish they'd use Commodore's Installer and offer the ability to selectively install items we want instead of installing everything. 🙂
