I agree that the PAR is not a replacement for frame by frame. For my
purposes it performs fantastically, but even to my untrained eye SOME
complex scenes suffer the effects of JPEG artifacts. I have not
fully tuned my system to its fullest potential, but I feel that frame
by frame or uncompressed video will produce noticebly better output
on those complex scenes. I have to agree that frame by frame will
not die until losless realtime output becomes more affordable…
