Another thing which seems absurd is that reading the story in the AP
section, it also goes on to state that the access charge will lower in the
future (start at $5 and go DOWN!)…if that is so, why even have it in the
first place and/or why not start at the lower rate…whatever that may be.
The whole thing just seems so typical of the government's desire to prove
they are necessary by doing something, even if it's wrong.
