I am an Amiga 2000 owner who is about to enter a Master's Degree program in Computer Science. My problem is this: Most of the programming assignments will require Turbo Pascal. Can anyone here compare for me Turbo Pascal to MetaComCo's, or to any other Amiga Pascal there may be. Alternately, can anyone tell me whether Turbo Pascal is known to run well on the Bridgeboard? As I might even get to the point of getting (gasp) an IBM compatible, the Bridgeboard would probably be a preferable alternative, if it were known to work. Finally, what are the current rumors about the Bridgeboard. Is the long awaited 80286 based bridge anywhere near coming out? I know that it has been shown at every possible trade show for the last two centuries, but when will it actually be BUYable? Unfortunately, I get the feeling that it will happen immediately AFTER I buy my 8088 based one.
