I don't think you will have to go to PC file names unless you have to conform to the ISO 9660. Most Mac, Unix, and Amiga CD-ROM drivers will support longer file name formats like Mac HFS. There are service bureaus here in the US which can do this. Just ask in CDROM forum. You can get the High Sierra standard document from the CDROM forum library in files HIGHS1,2, and 3, I believe. I have been told that this is practically the same as ISO 9660. You shouldn't really need to know the gory details of ISO 9660. The software you got from CATS should allow you to make disc image files that are ISO 9660 OR ones with longer file names which will work with Amigas, if that is what you want. A service bureau will be able to make a disc from either a DAT or QIC tape in TAR format from the disc image file OR the raw Amiga files. Just tell the service bureau it's a UNIX TAR archive with long file filenames. It may cost a little more to have them make a disc from the raw Amiga files instead of the disc image file. BTW, I have not heard of any incompatibilites between the premastering software which write the disc image file and CD-ROM mastering software which reads the disc image file and writes that out to the blank disc.
