Yeah, I agree with what you're saying about the Well's conferencing sw
(NETI). I haven't found a way yet to read just selected entries from a
topic. I'd swear I've been told there's a way, but I can't figure it out
from the help online… I have to agree that CIS' message base is the most
efficient for me, too. Once you know the simple commands, you can breeze
in and out. Of course it still amounts to at least an hour of download
time @ 1200 baud if you want to read a week's worth of msgs! Don't know
much about the Well's Unix, but I didn't think it was 4.3. Have to check
