Actually you can combine your filter 1 and 2 combinations to be 1 filter:
Filter 1:
Start: FROG.JPG, End: FARM.JPG
Filter: Transition: Faders: Both Random, Direction arrow on start image: UP
(or Up left, or Up right)
Options: Start Mask: FROGMSK.BMP, Movement Speed: -80
Filter 2: (as described in text)
Start: <Filter 1>, End: FARM.JPG
Filter: Overlay: Alpha
This will yeild the desired result and save you a filter.
Try this at home: Substitute the distortion effect of your choice for Filter 2
then do the Alpha Overlay in filter 3.
