PC Magazine says that's not a safe blanket statement to make. They just
benchmarked Excel 5 and Word 6 in both W4Workgroups and NT 3.5. The 16 bit
versions under W4W beat the NT versions handily. 16 bit Word even beat the
native NT app when both were running under NT.
Your mileage may vary, but don't believe the hype without looking behind it.
Did y'all do a 16 bit compile of ER?
