Thanks, I got your competitive upgrade recently.
The product looks very capable however I am having quite a bit of trouble
getting out of the blocks.
I've had this learning experience with other tools recently so I know it
passes. First, however I'm having some real stability problems. Looks like
WinImages does not "like" the Targa format output by Animation Master – my main
animation tool. I was hoping to use WinImages to do post processing on my
A:M work. Sure I can convert the file format to something else, individually
or possibly with a batch processor but what can you tell me about how I might
resolve the problem more directly. The machine either hangs hard or produces a
GP Fault – actually I just checked and its a Win32s error:
Unhandled Exception Error code 0xc0000005 FX.EXE B1C1F
Hardware: Gateway P590 – 40 Megs memory
Software: Windows for Workgroups 3.11
Assuming that I can get my files converted into a more compatible format (It
seems to like my Fractal Designer TGAs just fine), I could not find the trick
for loading a series of frames into the system (TimeLine or FilmStrip?) to
processes them as a group.
Frankly the paradigm has me a bit baffled. What is the conceptual work flow
model for this product, particularly regarding batch processing sequences of
frames produced by another system? I'll keep
browsing and playing. Your pointers are anticipated however. More tutorials
are needed, I think. I'm supportive of the on-line documentation approach. I
know how much easier and more timely it is for you I assure you. Content is
always the point though. In general, the docs look good.
With 'bated breath, Bre Anderson (Xanimotion)
