Maybe CBm should come out with a user prference setting that says "tell me
what I want to do, then enforce it rigidly". I don't happen to think the
Mac GUI is much good at all. Given enough arbitrary limitations, you can
make anything 'clean'. I just resent the limitations. This is not to say
that the Mac GUI does not have some good features, but I see a lot of
features in it I don't like.
