Murph I don't have the experience to answer you but I wanted to ask if, when your client got the write error msg, he didn't just exit to dos, call up his file mgr and delete SOMETHING…ANYTHING!! Then exit back to 3ds and save his prj file!! I learned this the HARD way, losing some 16 hrs worth of modeling!! (I would send the Evil Eye to the wall plug that my UPS plugs ino for weeks afterwards cause where do erased files go??) I know this is simple minded stuff to most other 3ds users but I feel more in control of my destiny now that I know of this work around. If this isn't the same situation I'd like to hear the outcome for my own protection!! Thanks, Gary (been there, done that) Angle
