I just starting to research ISDN and have basic questions. I know that the speed of these types of connections are significantly quicker than a typical modem connection, but are ISDN connections like a remote control connection like PCAnywhere or a remote node. If so, which is better? Where can I get information on the type hardware and are there any recomendations on this hardware. Finally I have heard so many horror stories in trying to set up an ISDN connection, the two locations I would like to set up are in different phone company areas one Pacific Bell, who I've heard is on the for front of the ISDN connections, and GTE who isn't. Do I have an impossible situation?
