Basically, what would happen is that I'd launch CheckItOut, it would open 1
window and then another, and my machine would freeze while the 2nd window was
being drawn. During this time I was able to note that my system default fonts
were not being used properly, so that gadgets were improperly drawn and so on.
I suspect that the freezing problem might be because of an incompatablity
between CheckItOut and the software for my RetinaZ3. Otoh, no other program
that runs on the Workbench has ever frozen my machine in that way, so I could
be wrong.
I have an A3k. As of now it is running OS 2.1 on a stock processor, but later
this week I will be upgrading it to OS 3.1 and a Warp Engine 3040. I'll try
CheckItOut again then, just for in case.
