It won't work on the Apple side unless you format a cartridge using an Apple formatting program, like FWB Hammer's Hard Disk Toolkit. You can access a Syquest cartridge from the Emplant if you have the drive connected to the Amiga buss and create a cartridge to use on the Emplant just as you set up a hard disk partition. However, that cartridge won't be usable on a real Mac. Your CD-ROM can be mounted using driver software such as FWB Hammer's CD-ROM Toolkit or Corel SCSI for Mac. Both products will normally work with most Toshiba CD-ROM drives.
