Get a Demo Tape?
OK – I am still trying to figure out if I should get 3DS, a PAR, and a SVHS
deck to output animations to video.
I would like to get a tape which would show me the quality which would be
obtainable with this setup, as no amount of words
seems to adequately convey if "it's good enough".
I would like someone to hook up a SVHS deck to their PAR, put a VHS tape (not
SVHS tape, I plan to distribute on VHS) in the
deck and put any animation they have out to the tape thru 3DS. It doesn't have
to be a great, big, fancy, long animation – just
enough to let me see what quality is obtained – say a minimum of 30 secs. I am
willing to specify that I will not play this animation
for anyone else or use or re-use it in any way, so maybe you can just give me a
sample of whatever you are already working on,
which should make it easier on you. I am also willing to pay a reasonable cost
to get this tape and
determine what this setup is capable of. If you can provide this service,
please let me know and we can e-mail some
info on addresses, cost, etc. I hope to hear from someone!!
