Jeff, hi. I send video e-mail and messages all the time. Albeit my video files are Quicktime. TV takes a lot more doing and it would be more universal to mail VHS tape to Mr. & Mrs. Mortal America. I send 320X240, 8fps, 8bit 5khz mono audio, compressed with Cinepak at 50-55KPS data limiting. Frame 1 is always my banner with title, from & to, etc. The last 2 frames are my trailer and sig <if I decide to add one>. A 10 second message compressed with stuffit is around 340K which transmits <America Online at 19.2> in less than 5 minutes. A 30 second message can often be squeezed onto a 1.4m floppy and mailed. Once you get into this, you'll realize that 30 seconds on camera is a long time for a message. It takes some planning to use the time wisely. But if a picture is worth 1,000 words, a movie is worth millions. You can 'show and tell' things in seconds that would take you forever to explain at your keyboard. And forever to read on the receiver's end. And believe it or not, you can easily create a really boring 30 second message that seems like it goes on for an eternity. <smile> Good luck, Paul
