Hello Michael Something in my boot files was causing rayman to be unable to access ram. Without vmm Rayshell wouldnt run (no memory message ) and with vmm the rendering of alessi paged to disk constantly until lock up. I changed my boot files to a minimum configuration and so far ( I will have to do more testing ) Rayman seems to be working fine. I guess I will add things one at a time to try to find the offending line in the boot files. BTW using @ with the vmc file line is not documented. Thanks for your help ED
